Fillers

Businesses and people that are trying to sell something and keep selling something have to have good publicity and they work hard to get publicity. Without good publicity and customers they would not be able to exist.

Publicity allows people to know who they are and then those people want to come buy what they have. But if businesses do not have good publicity or people to buy their stuff they might as well just shut down.

One way that these people try to get good publicity is by pitching their stories to editors and reporters and developing relationships with these reporters. If reporters will accept their articles then that is a good way to get publicity.

If they have good relationships with the reporters then they can rest assured that the reporter would publish positive things about them and also help to further their business along.

A lot of times though it is tough for people to get their articles published. Reporters look at so many articles that they can only select a few. They have a limited amount of space and cannot squeeze everyone's articles on that space.

This is why one great idea for businesses and such to get publicity would be able to write fillers instead of full-length articles. A reporter may not be able to squeeze in a full article in the publication because maybe they are out of room, but they do have spaces where there is nothing and so a filler or brief would be great to fill in that space.

If a business were to write an article that was shorter rather than longer they would be much more likely to get it in because a reporter would be able to fill in empty spaces with it. It really is a great idea.

You can send these fillers to more than one publication without getting in trouble so if you had it in many places, that is all the more publicity for you. It would be a good way to get in some advertising.

You would have more people read them because they would be in more places. If you only sent it to one publication then you would get a lot of people reading it, but if you sent it to many publications then you would have that many more to read it.

A filler is also good because of its length. Though it is not long, it is good for publicity. There are many times when people are looking through magazines and such without having a lot of time to read entire articles. Short articles catch their eye because they can read through them quick and be done.

If they are in a dentist's office or something then they do not have time to read through the whole magazine unless if it super busy and they have a long wait. Otherwise, short articles would be perfect for them.

You just have to make sure that your article has a catchy and interesting title because otherwise they will not want to read it. If it is catchy then they will be eager to read it. Sometimes they will read it if it is not interesting but it would be much better publicity for you if you made it interesting.
