Learn HTML

HTML or the Hyper Text Markup Language is an extremely useful tool and what's more, it's easy to learn. You might spend about 5-10 hours mastering the basics of HTML and after you know the basics, you will know enough about how the code works that you will be able to teach yourself even more. You will also learn how to look at the source codes on different websites and replicate those effects.

Learning HTML will help you professionally because it is a valuable skill that employers appreciate. It will help you to create exciting web pages that will hook the readers and reflect well on your company.

HTML is so easy to learn that you might even consider teaching yourself from a self-help book. The "for dummies" series has a HTML book out and there are other books that might even be easier to learn from. When looking for an HTML book, find the shortest book possible.
