National Public Radio

Being on national public radio would be a great way for your business to get good publicity. You do not even have to have a business, if you are an author trying to sell a book or anything of that sort, it would still be a great way to get publicity.

Radio is one way that a lot of people listen to the news and such. Whether they listen to drive-time radio, listen at home, at work or while working out, there is a huge span of people that you could reach by being on nations public radio.

There is an even huger span on national public radio because unlike local radio stations, you would be able to reach all across the country in one giant sweep. People say that they have made a ton of money just by advertising on local stations, think of how much you could make advertising on national stations.

You could make so much more than you would be able to make otherwise. Your name would spread to so many people in so little time. If you wanted to sell a lot of something then national public radio may be the key.

Even if a lot of people were not interested in what you were offering, if you kept at it, your name would become very familiar with them. The more familiar your name is with them the more likely they are to end up buying your product.

If you were a local business, national public radio probably would not be the thing for you because people in Alaska are not going to be flying to Florida just to be a customer to your business.

But if you were a chain such as Wal-Mart then national public radio would be a great thing. It would get your name out and your business advertised in a lot of places where people will actually be able to take part in your stuff.

Or if you were trying to sell a book and you were trying to sell it all over the nation it would be a great way to let people know about it. If you could come up with something interesting to say so that people would want your book, then it would not only be the people in your town buy it, but anyone who listens to national public radio.

Also if you are selling a product that is specialized for the area in which you live, national public radio may not be the best choice. If what you are advertising is made for people in New York and not for people in Utah then there is no point in having it advertised in both and is probably unlikely.

National public radio would be harder to get on then local radio stations probably so maybe you could get on local stations a few times to prepare you, and then go on national public radio.

It is suggested that going on the radio would help prepare you if you ever wanted to get on a TV talk show. You would get good experience talking on the radio so that if you wanted to then you could be interviewed for TV.

Sometimes it is difficult to get on TV so having radio experience would make it easier for you and would probably also help out in interviews. If they could see that you had previous media experience then they would probably be a lot more likely to allow you on their show.
